Sandarian Feral Knights
The Feral Knights of Sandar were morbomantic warriors that served King Sadoln, the Tyrant of Sandar. Bloodthirsty, reckless, and near-uncontrollably violent, the Feral Knights were one of the reasons why Sadoln's despicable reign gave fuel to the Mundane War following his removal from the throne.
Warriors & Bowmen #
While the Feral Knights were skillful warriors who excelled in all forms of combat, they were best known for their archery. What made them so dangerous a foe was their monsterification-enabled heavy war bow usage. Feral Knights carried two bows with them: a standard heavy longbow and an even greater longbow with a poundage essentially impossible for any strong bowman to draw. By enhancing their strength through morbomantic monsterification, they could draw this ultra-heavy war bow back and deliver shots that could obliterate armour even as tough as the Jinifarian Cataphracts'.
Animals by Morality & Appearance #
Sadoln allowed his Feral Knights to wreak havoc across his domain because of how effective they were as his warriors. He pardoned them for many atrocities, including the reckless indulgence of their monstrous forms. This led to Feral Knights causing destruction of property, rape, feasting upon Sandarian civilians, and spontaneous cruelty across Sandar.
Disbandment #
During the revolution against Sadoln, the Feral Knights attempted to fight back against Lord Bern's rebels in an attempt to crown one of their own lords the successor king of Sandar. Large militias of civilians who had come to support Bern were known to ambush packs of Feral Knights and use pikes to force them into pits filled with impaling spikes.
Hefty casualties were incurred during the culling of the Feral Knights, but the extinction of their order was successful.
